# Deposit

{% hint style="info" %}
To begin trading on Bloom, you need to deposit **SOL** into the wallet created when you first joined the platform. Follow these steps to ensure your wallet is ready for trading.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="danger" %}
Only deposit **SOL** through the **Solana network** to avoid losing funds. Always double-check your wallet address before confirming any transfers.
{% endhint %}

#### **Locate Your Wallet Address**

When you first joined Bloom, a wallet was automatically generated for you, and you can find your wallet address by navigating to the <kbd>Wallets</kbd> section in the menu or by running the <kbd>/wallets</kbd> command.

#### **Wait for the Deposit Confirmation**

Once the transfer is initiated, it may take a few moments for the SOL to appear in your Bloom wallet. Just refresh the page to check if the deposit has arrived.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.bloombot.app/solana/getting-started/wallets-setup/deposit.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
